This could have been narrated by a man or woman. Enjoy the reading!

5:00 AM: I am a morning person, I started doing yoga and after that, I did some meditation, then I took a shower and put on some casual clothing.

6:30 AM: I started preparing pancakes and orange juice for my kids. I skipped breakfast since I have been doing intermittent fasting for the past four weeks.

7:00 AM – 7:30 AM: I dropped off my daughter in high school and then I dropped off my 7-year-old son at his school.

7:30 AM – 8:00 AM: I started my commute to my office, which is 20 minutes away from my home. While I was driving, I listened to a Radio Lab podcast episode.

8:00 AM – 9:00 AM: I got into the office and started the day by checking my company email before I focused on site speed and website security.

9:00 AM – 10:00 AM: I spent time delaying the execution of some scripts such as Google Analytics, Google Adsense, and Facebook Pixel from all sites I was in charge of.

10:00 AM – 12:00 AM: I wrote a simple script for lazy loading images, videos, and Iframes. Once the script was tested, I added the script to all sites.

12:00 AM: I was starving since I hadn’t eaten for 18 hours, so I ordered Thai food. When I finished my lunch, I spent half an hour talking about science fiction movies like Predator, Interstellar, and Prometheus.

1:00 AM – 2:00 PM: I started solving security tickets; I whitelisted some IP addresses, unblocked usernames, installed some security plugins, and activated some software licenses.

2:00 PM – 3:00 PM: We had a huge problem since one of our sites, the site got hacked and completely defaced. Fortunately, We make backups every two hours so we restored the site from a backup made at 12 PM today.

3:00 PM – 6:00 PM: I focused on the previously hacked site for the rest of the day. I blocked access to the site’s dashboard, database, and installation. I rate limited bots. I updated everything related to that site.

6:00 PM – 6:45 PM. I commuted back home, I decided to play an Indie music playlist from Spotify to chill and relax since the traffic was kind of heavy.

6:45 PM: I stopped by my mom’s house to pick up the kids, my mom is the one who picks up my kids from school and high school.

7:15 PM: The kids and I arrived home and ordered pineapple pizza for dinner. The kids went to their rooms to play video games and watch Youtube.

8:00 PM: I decided to watch two more episodes of “Severance” but fell asleep, I don’t remember a thing after that.
